My name is Samantha Dickens and I am the Owner of Sonder Behavioral Health. From age 7, my dream was to become a therapist and open a private practice, after years of dedication to my education, I proudly established my mental health practice. Drawing from my experiences in foster care and adoptions, I honed my skills in understanding diverse backgrounds. Working in sex trauma intervention work, my commitment to mental health advocacy work continued. During my journey, I identified a gap in LGBTQ+ services in East Tennessee. Fueled by a passion for inclusivity, I aimed to create a safe space where individuals could authentically express themselves, no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity. Along with recognizing the importance of neurodivergent perspectives, the practice is committed to providing tailored services that meet the unique needs of each individual. My goal is to foster an environment where people feel seen, heard, and supported on their journey toward a healthy well-being.
