Melissa Orr, LMFT (Formerly Woodby)

Melissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s in Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s in Family Studies from the University of Tennessee—where she still proudly bleeds orange.

She works with older adolescents, adults, and couples, creating a safe and supportive space for healing. Specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, attachment issues, relationships, and self-esteem. Melissa is EMDR-trained and integrates evidence-based approaches, like CBT, to foster lasting growth and self-compassion.  She encourages clients to see diagnoses as a framework for understanding their experiences rather than as defining limitations. She acknowledges the systemic nature of human life and recognizes how external factors shape mental health and focuses on addressing the root cause for lasting change.
